This powerful driver features a thoroughly vented 4 diameter voice coil on a heat resistant Kapton former to handle 2,000 watts RMS with minimal power compression.
X Series is dedicated to delivering extreme midrange performance, capable of high output and high power handling, while delivering a smooth vocal response.

Extreme car audio enthusiasts will find PRV Audios 12MR2000X to be the perfect 12? midrange door speaker. It is capable of handling up to 2000 watts RMS power (with a suggested 150 Hz, 18 dB/octave high pass filter in place tuned with PRV DSP)!
The large magnet assembly is attached to a sturdy, reinforced cast-aluminum frame.
A Qts of 0.28 and a double roll suspension design allow for a strong response from 400Hz to 300Hz, even at high excursion controlling well its natural paper cone at its 6.60 mm Xmax. Its composite cone is built with non-pressed paper (visible on the back side) for reduced break-up and smooth sound.
The high power handling, combined with 100 dB sensitivity, allows this mid to produce incredible dynamics and low distortion when pushed to incredible output levels.
