iDatalink HRN-HRR-GM3 + ADS-MRRConnect an iDatalink-compatible car stereo and retain steering wheel controls, OnStar, backup cam, and Bluetooth in select 2014-20 GM-made vehicles
iDatalink working with GMiDatalink's HRN-HRR-GM3 interface harness allows you to connect an iDatalink-ready car stereo in select 2014-20 GM-made vehicles, working in conjunction with iDatalink's Maestro ADS-MRR or ADS-MRR2 module. Once connected, you'll retain the use of your steering wheel audio controls, your OnStar® system with its Bluetooth® capability, your factory backup camera, and your warning chimes. Plus, you'll be able to assign secondary functions to your steering wheel audio controls.Keep in touch with your truckYou'll be able to set up gauges on your receiver's screen to monitor engine performance, tire pressure, and other functions. In addition, you will retain full access to your factory vehicle customization options on your new radio's screen.InstallationThe package includes connectors that plug in between the Maestro module, your vehicle's radio's wiring plugs, and your new car stereo. You'll have to solder or splice together this harness's power/ground, illumination, speaker, and navigation output wires to the corresponding wires on your aftermarket receiver's wiring harness.Plug directly into your new stereoThis harness also features an in-line head-unit connector harness, which will plug into their new "Head-unit direct" harnesses for select radio brands, which eliminate the need to splice any wires. If you're installing a radio that doesn't work with a "Head-unit direct" harness, you simply cut off the plug and connect the wires to the harness included with your new radio.Installation note: The HRN-HRR-GM3 harness must be used with the iDatalink Maestro ADS-MRR or ADS-MRR2 module to connect a new car stereo to your GM-made vehicle.Satellite radio note: Your satellite radio tuner is built into your factory radio, so this harness can't retain that feature. To keep SiriusXM working, you'll need a satellite radio tuner and an adapter to connect your vehicle's satellite radio antenna to that tuner.Product highlights:allows installation of a new receiver with an iDatalink port in select GM vehicles (also requires the Maestro ADS-MRR or ADS-MRR2 module)retains the use of your steering wheel audio controls and warning chimesretains OnStar (with Bluetooth), factory backup cam, vehicle customization optionsdisplays engine performance data on touchscreenworks with iDatalink's "Head-unit Direct" harnesses, eliminating need for splicingwarranty: 1 yearWhat's in the box:

iDatalink Maestro RR Interface Module
Connect a new stereo and retain the steering wheel audio controls and factory amps in select 2006-up vehicles
iDatalink's Maestro ADS-MRR module, along with the correct interface harness for your vehicle, allows you to install a new car stereo in select 2006-up Ford/Lincoln/Mercury, GM, Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep/RAM, Toyota/Scion, Honda/Acura, Fiat, Subaru, Volkswagen/Audi, and other vehicles while retaining your factory steering wheel audio controls and the use of your factory amplifier, if present.
Here's how it works
First, you connect the Maestro to your computer using the included USB cable, visit www.idatalink.com/maestro, and follow the instructions. Once the unit has been "flashed," it's ready to go. Next, you'll either solder or crimp the vehicle-specific Maestro harness (sold separately) to your new receiver's wiring, just like you would with any Crutchfield wiring harness or wiring adapter.
Important Note: You will also need an additional Maestro vehicle-specific wiring harness that connects your new receiver to the ADS-MRR module and your vehicle's wiring. We will automatically add this harness to your Cart at a discounted price when you purchase a new car stereo and this ADS-MRR module.
Retain steering wheel audio controls, too
The ADS-MRR module also allows you to use your factory steering wheel audio controls with your new receiver. Using the intuitive web programming interface, each factory button can be assigned a specific radio function. Better yet, you can also assign a secondary "press and hold" radio function to each factory button, effectively doubling what can be controlled.
Keeping your factory features with an iDatalink-ready car stereo
If you're buying a compatible Kenwood, JVC, Pioneer, Sony, or Alpine receiver, you'll enjoy the outstanding performance of your receiver, plus seamless touchscreen control over most of the factory features in select vehicles.
