Continuing PRV Audio's "pro audio on wheels" concept, the 6MR250B-4 SLIM 6" midrange is built to deliver the same performance as a professional loudspeaker. Featuring an aluminum phase plug for improved high frequency response, this driver is able to give high levels of output in installation locations where depth is at a minimum.

The 6MR250B-4 SLIM 6" midrange speaker uses a "bullet" phase plug made from pure aluminum to lower inductance and act as a heat sink cooling system for the voice coil. Machined to perfection for even sound dissipation the phase plug also improves off-axis frequency response. Beyond good looks, this cone is extremely light, providing excellent damping to keep an incredibly natural yet accurate sound with incredible efficiency.
An M-roll cloth surround, combined with an optimized fiber pressed paper cone, ensure the speaker’s frequency response is smooth and extends to high range making an easy transition to a super tweeter. The suspension design of the 6MR250-4 SLIM features a single layer spider – which connects to the coil former with premium stitched lead wires. The cone is driven by a copper-clad aluminum wire voice coil providing high efficiency and excellent power handling.
This driver is constructed of high-performance characteristics and high-quality components to provide exceptional clarity, detail, and dynamic sound. You can expect outstanding sound stage quality and realistic sound reproduction for a great value. This is the new standard of value in high-performance bullet speakers.
Built to perform and able to handle 250 watts of continuous power, this midrange is the perfect option to replace those old 2-way or 3-way coaxial speakers.
